I just had to post this little one- she's too gorgeous to just sit in my hard drive...  This is baby "H" and she was a gem!!

Twin beauties

A few weeks ago, when the daffodils were in full bloom and the first signs of spring were just beginning to emerge, I had a chance to photograph twin beauties who are just as alike as they are different.  These two little ladies are as full of spirit as their mother and smart as whips.  They're clearly each other's best friends and I smiled every time they called each other "sissy" instead of by their names.  The twin bond they have was quite evident as they shared whispered secrets and giggles with one another.  Sisters are great but twin sisters??  Hard to beat.

GORGEOUS baby "R" and family

I have 4 kids of my own, more nieces and nephews than I can count, and lots of friends with babies... so I've seen my fair share of babies in my day.  In my humble opinion, ALL babies are beautiful in their own unique way but the child I photographed this weekend was HONESTLY one of the most gorgeous babies I've ever laid eyes on!

Baby "R" and his Mommy and Daddy came to my house for their photo shoot and brought the sun with them.  We had such a nice afternoon and baby "R" was a true gem... barely made a peep and just looked around with those big beautiful eyes of his.  "R" 's parents were just as easy-going as their baby boy, which made my "job" a breeze.  Here is a sneak preview of their session.  Check that baby out... see what I mean??

Two beautiful babies

I recently photographed these two babies and I had to post them on the blog because they seemed to me not only adorable but old!  ...As in, old souls.  When you look at these two cuties, it's almost as if they have the answers that you've been searching for, if only they could talk!  :)

OK- is this not one of the cutest kids you've ever seen?  Seriously-  it's all I can do not to pinch his little cheeks when he grins at me with that little dimple and babbles in his little 2-year-old gravely voice.  This little man is "G" and he is even more adorable in real life than he is in these pictures.  He is a little bit trouble maker, a little bit sweet, a little bit snakes, a little bit snails, and a little bit puppy dog tails.  We had fun together playing with his school bus but he definitely made me work a little bit for those smiles... but it's OK- I'll have plenty of practice with him.

Ahhhh newborns

I just was reminiscing about having a newborn in the house (because my 8 month old is too big for me now)   :) and so I thought I'd post a few of my favorite newborn session pictures...  Here's the first one- more to follow.  I just love the LOVE that you can feel from Mommy and Daddy when they're holding their little brand new baby girl.  Man, it's an awesome feeling!

Baby "M"

Little baby "M" was only a few days old when I was lucky enough to capture his sweet little face on camera.  His mommy and I have been friends since we were practically babies ourselves and I love her to pieces.  Little "M" is just as sweet as his mommy and couldn't look any cuter in the little baskets and blankets we had him in (even if one of the blankets had a Steelers logo ;).

Along for the shoot was little "M"'s big brother, "K" and daddy too.   I grabbed a few shots of  daddy and "K"  before they left for park and had a great visit with just my old friend and her new bambino.  Needless to say, "M" is the perfect addition to a wonderful family.

Wow- over a year later, much?

I can't believe it's been over a year since I blogged last...  So much has happened in the past year- I, uh, started a blog, I had my 4th baby in July, my oldest baby started kindergarten, my second baby started preschool, I've built my portfolio up (while putting my business on hold), started a job with Bella Baby Photography... and that's not even touching my husband's crazy schedule! 

My New Year's resolution (3 months late) is to blog more often so here it goes!  I'm going to start by posting some photos that I've taken over the past year.  I've had the pleasure of photographing beautiful babies, fascinating families, loving couples, and a lot of things in between.  I love the view I see from behind my camera and I love the people I capture even more.  Let the barrage begin...
